Poverty Eradication and Development Initiative – Africa (PEDIA) is a non-governmental organization committed to engaging with, assisting and taking all necessary action for the relief, rehabilitation and development of the underprivileged people of Africa with a view of enabling the achievement of an enduring socio-economic base. PEDIA is designed to mobilize youths with a view of creating a pan-African spirit and awareness of the fact that mobilization for development requires potential leaders, who are adequately skilled and thus need to be prepared for this eventuality in life.

The project is mandated to improve the standards of living in the District of the Organisations operations by empowering the community to start up income generating projects using the various skills acquired.
